For many years, I have been fascinated by the complex nature of the human body and mind, particularly in relation to overall wellness.
After earning my B.A. in biological sciences from Cornell University, I wanted to gain a greater understanding of the roles protein biochemistry and cellular physiology play in regard to various diseases. This passion for delving deeper into the study of life led me down the path of earning Ph.D., M.A., and M.Phil. degrees in biological sciences from Columbia University. As a scientist, I investigated the structure and function of proteins involved in several genetic diseases.
By conducting research at the cellular and molecular levels, I saw firsthand how biochemical processes are interrelated throughout the entire body. Therefore, I developed a great appreciation for viewing the body and mind as a holistic system.
Our genetics make us unique; so do our different lifestyles. I soon realized that wellness should be personalized and began exploring ways to approach wellness from a new perspective. With my scientific curiosity, I immersed myself in wellness research and also received wellness training from Mayo Clinic.
As a wellness consultant, I want to empower you to feel in control of your lifestyle habits.
I use an approach that integrates evidence-based research with practical strategies for personalized wellness.
